You think you know life, as you stand on the edge of things and watch it go by. But then you are not living it. Life is more than just a journey barely traveled, and not experienced. Instead it is to be challenged, run hard, and run fast. Skidding in on two wheels, banged up, worn out, loudly proclaiming...........Wow what a ride!

The Ride
Very few get to experience it and most don't understand it. The transformation to one's inner being once a leg is swung over the seat and the engine is fired up. Helmet on, goggles in place, gloves fitted tightly, you face the obstacles of the course. The familiar apprehension and fear that swells up from inside with the anticipation that makes you fell like your're going to explode! Shifting into gear, throttling up and letting out the clutch, the time warp begins! Smells, sounds, the feeling of acceleration as the bike comes alive benieath you! All the same as it was oh so many years ago! For this moment all time stands still, problems fade away, life becomes so simple. For those that do know it, it cannot be explained. Those that do, understand there is no better place to be! |
